Today, I’m making the side cargo pockets for the outdoor pants.
今日はアウトドアパンツの脇パッチポケットの制作です。
First, I fold the pocket opening with an iron and stitch it in place.
まずはポケット口をアイロンで折り、ステッチをかけます。
Using a sandpaper jig cut to the finished size, I fold the side and bottom seam allowances of the cargo pocket and secure them with glue.
仕上がりサイズにカットしたサンドペーパー治具を使い、パッチポケットの横と下の縫い代を折って糊で固定します。
I mark the gusset piece where it aligns with the pocket corners.
マチパーツに、ポケットの角に合う位置で線を引いておきます。
Using a sandpaper jig cut to the finished gusset width, I fold the seam allowances.
マチの仕上がり幅にカットしたサンドペーパー治具で、縫い代を折ります。
I sew the pocket and gusset together.
ポケットとマチを縫い合わせます。
The cargo pocket is now ready.
パッチポケットの準備は完了です。
