Hiking with Mei to Mt. Kumanodake, Zao, Yamagata prefecture, Japan.
Meiちゃんと一緒に山形県蔵王山熊野岳にハイキング。
I had underestimated Zao in October. I wore layers of innerwear, fleece, and a light shell jacket, but it was very cold.
10月の蔵王をなめていました。インナー、フリース、ライトシェルのレイヤードで行ったのですが、とっても寒いー。
Zao’s famous Okama. Zao Okama is a crater located at an altitude of 1670M.

Okama is so big.

When the clouds clear and the sun shines, it feels a little warm and nice.
雲が晴れて日が当たるとちょっと暖かくていい気持ち。
But the wind was picking up and it was getting cold again.
でも風が強くなってきてやっぱり寒いー。

The hiking route takes about an hour and a half each way, even if you walk slowly while taking pictures.
撮影しながらちょぼちょぼ歩いても片道およそ一時間半のコース。
It was an easy route and good views, but too cold and strong winds made us descend quickly.
楽ちんコースで良い景色でしたが、あまりの寒さと強風ですぐに下山。
The autumn leaves are also a little advanced,
紅葉も少し進んでいて、
A good time was had despite the cold.
寒いながらも良い時間が過ごせました。
