Climb. Step over. Crouch.
Mountain Lazy Cargo was born from a mix of hiking gear functionality and street fashion style, combining cargo pockets and a lantern silhouette.
The name “Mountain Lazy Cargo” was chosen to layer the idea of “Lazy” onto mountain gear. It represents a relaxed feeling and a philosophy of not trying too hard.
Not rushing to the summit, enjoying the scenery and the wind, and taking time to slowly experience the mountain. Mountain Lazy Cargo was created as a companion for spending such “Lazy” moments.
At Team MarukoHalu, we sometimes go out into the mountains and nature with dolls as our partners. We take photos of beautiful scenery and enjoy doll portrait photography with natural landscapes as the background, while walking at a slow, relaxed pace.
Sometimes we get too absorbed in shooting, run out of time, and have to turn back along the way.
But that is also how we at Team MarukoHalu enjoy the mountains. With the image of enjoying such unhurried time, we created “Mountain Lazy Cargo.”
登る・またぐ・しゃがむ。
ハイキングギアとしての機能性と「カーゴポケット＋提灯シルエット」のストリートファッションテイストをミックスして生まれたのが、この 「Mountain Lazy Cargo」 です。
パンツの名前 「Mountain Lazy Cargo」 は山の道具ながら、どこか肩の力が抜けた気分「Lazy（のんびりした）」、頑張りすぎない美学を重ねて名付けました。
頂上を急がず、景色や風を楽しみ、ゆっくりと山を味わう。
このパンツは、そんな「Lazy（のんびりした）」な時間を過ごすための相棒として制作しました。
私たちチームMarukoHaluは、時折ドールをパートナーに山や自然へ出かけます。綺麗な景色を撮ったり、自然を背景にドールのポートレート撮影を楽しみながら、ゆっくりのんびり山や自然を歩きます。
撮影に夢中になり過ぎて時間がなくなり、途中で引き返すことも時折あります。
でも、それもまた私たちチームMarukoHaluにとっての山の楽しみ方。そんなゆったりした時間を楽しむイメージで制作したのが、この 「Mountain Lazy Cargo」 です。
■ About the Details | ディテールについて
- Silhouette / シルエット
The silhouette is intentionally designed with rhythm.
The combination of cargo pockets and a lantern (tapered yet voluminous) silhouette creates a wild look typical of mountain gear, while adding a tough sense of presence.
The hem creates a “slouchy” look like military pants when tucked into boots. The extra fabric creates natural wrinkles and a three-dimensional effect, giving the pants a realistic expression.
A shadowed silhouette created by the excess fabric, finished with an atmosphere that suggests movement.
Outdoor pants, yet retaining the air of street fashion. This silhouette was achieved by focusing on that balance, and a water-wash process is applied after completion to create a natural wrinkled texture.
シルエットは、あえて抑揚を付けて設計しています。
カーゴポケット＋提灯シルエットが生むのは、山の道具らしいワイルドさと、タフな存在感の演出です。
裾をブーツに入れたときに生まれるミリタリーパンツのようなダブつき。その余りがつくる自然なシワや立体感が、パンツにリアルな表情を与えます。
布が余ることで生まれる影のあるシルエット。
そこに動きを感じさせる雰囲気で仕上げました。アウトドアパンツでありながら、ストリートファッションの空気感も残す。そのバランスを意識して、このシルエットにたどり着きました。そして、完成後の水通しにより自然なシワ感を演出しています。
- Pocket / ポケット
The two pockets are details designed to naturally draw out gestures and natural posing.
The front features diagonal pockets designed at an angle and size that allow hands to rest naturally inside. This makes it possible to express casual actions, such as “putting hands in pockets,” during a hike.
On both sides are cargo pockets with gussets. They are a design accent that adds both the look of practical storage and a rugged aesthetic.
2つのポケットは、仕草やポージングを自然に引き出すためのディテールです。
フロントには、手が自然に入る角度と大きさに設計した斜めポケット。ハイキング中のふとした動作や、「ポケットに手を入れる」という何気ない仕草をポージングできるようにしました。
両脇にはマチ付きのカーゴポケット。収納の実用性と無骨さを演出するデザインアクセントです。
- Knee Dart / 膝のダーツ
Standing, walking, crouching. In human clothing, darts are a detail to support movement. For doll clothing, however, they provide a three-dimensional shape to the knees, naturally creating wrinkles and shadows within the pants themselves.
立つ、歩く、しゃがむ。
人の服でのダーツは動きを支えるためのディテールですが、ドール服では膝に立体感を与えることで、パンツ自体にシワや陰影が自然に生まれます。Now, why not take your partner doll out into the mountains and nature to spend some slow, “Lazy” time together?
