“Embrace cape coat” is a cape coat for SMARTDOLLS.
スマートドール用のケープコート「Embrace cape coat」。
I was inspired to create this cape coat when I passed a cool woman walking with dignity wearing a cape during the season of cold night winds.
冷たい夜風が吹く季節、ケープを羽織って凛として歩く格好良い女性とすれ違ったことがきっかけで制作したのがこのケープコートです。
The woman had a beautiful, straight-backed gait, just like Violet from anime”Violet Evergarden”, and the way she walked so easily with the hem of her cape fluttering in the wind was very impressive.
その女性はまるでヴァイオレット･エヴァーガーデンのヴァイオレットちゃんのような背筋が通った美しい歩き方で、ケープの裾を風になびかせながら、さっそうと歩く姿がとても印象的でした。
The cape she was wearing at that time inspired us to create this cape, which we rearranged in the style of Team MarukoHalu.
その時の女性が着ていたケープから閃きを頂いて、チームMarukohalu流にアレンジして仕上げました。
Theme of the design is “Embrace”.
デザインテーマは「Embrace（包含）」です。
The base design is to give the impression of being wrapped in fabric when worn with the front completely closed, and the buttons can be fastened in several different ways.
前を全て閉めて着た時に布に包まれているような雰囲気をベースデザインに、ボタンの留め方で数パターンの着方アレンジができるようにデザインしました。
The Olive color has passed a 2-week color transfer test.
オリーブカラーは2週間の色移りテストをクリアしています。
Front opening has three buttons.
前開きは3つのドットボタン。
Overlapping diagonal lines are designed to wrap deeply around the chest. Hem part is designed with a slit to give a sense of movement.
重なり斜めのラインにすることで胸周りを深く包み込むデザインに。裾部分はスリットで動き感のあるデザインにしました。
For a short hair wig, you can wear the hood.
ショートヘアでしたらフードを被ることができます。
The way the hood looks can be adjustments with buttons.
フート端の見え方はボタンでアレンジができる仕様です。
When the hood front edge is woven in and buttoned up, it becomes a simple hooded design.
フードの前端を織り込んでボタンを留めるとシンプルなフーデッドデザインに。
When not buttoned, the front edge of the hood becomes a slit, giving it a slightly hard look.
ボタンを留めない場合は、スリットになり少しハードな雰囲気になります。
Front opening can also be adjustments by fastening the buttons.
前開きもボタンの留め方でアレンジして頂けます。
Due to the design, the side pockets do not allow for full insertion of hands, but you can put your fingers in them or put small items in them.
脇ポケットはデザインの都合上、手はすっぽり入りませんが、指を少し入れたり小物を入れることができます。
Hem of the cloak can be fastened with a butt
マントの裾はボタンで留めらます。
If you want to show your arms, unbutton the buttons. The cape’s silhouette is enhanced when the buttons are fastened.
腕を出したい場合はボタンを外して、ボタンを留めるとマントシルエット感がアップします。
Cape’s unique triangle silhouette has been prioritized, so the arms cannot be opened wide while wearing the cape, but,
ケープ独特のトライアングルシルエットを優先しましたので、ケープを着たまま腕を大きく開くことができませんが、、

Hand warmers and mittens would also go well with this cape.

■BEHIND THE STORY OF PRODUCTION | 制作プチ裏話
As I mentioned in the main text, the woman walking with dignity in a cape in the cold wind was seriously nice. Thanks to the cape lady for the great idea. Sorry, this is not a behind-the-scenes story.
本文で触れましたが寒風の中、ケープを羽織って凛として歩く女性はマジでヤバイ素敵さでした。ケープのお姉さん素敵なアイディアをありがとう。制作裏話ではなくてスミマセン。
